Fine-tuned TrOCR model for Khmer handwriting recognition achieving 0.87 CER on 3,915 samples. Built automated data pipelines reducing manual annotation time.

A bit about who I am

I'm Ly Leab, a Data Scientist and AI Engineer based in Phnom Penh with a specialization in Computer Vision and Data Pipelines. I thrive at the intersection of raw data and actionable intelligence.


I believe great AI models are invisible — they get out of the user's way and solve the core business problem seamlessly. My work prioritizes data quality over quantity, ensuring models are built to last. When I'm not coding, you'll find me exploring new technologies or hunting for a good coffee.
